Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Bebelog mobile application (the “Service”) collects, how we use it, who processes it on our behalf, and how you can control or delete it. The Turkish version of this policy prevails in case of any discrepancy. Users in Türkiye can find detailed information in the KVKK Notice (in Turkish).

1. Data Controller

The Service is operated by Merve Kılınç (“we”, “our”, or “us”). Contact: support@bebelog.co. The postal address is listed in the KVKK Notice.

2. Information We Collect

a) Account Information

Name
Email address
Records of your acceptance of the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, KVKK Notice and your explicit consent

b) Child-Related Information (entered by the parent or guardian)

Child’s name, date of birth and gender
Sleep, nutrition and toilet tracking entries
Height, weight and head circumference measurements
Vaccination records
Medication and vitamin entries
Diary entries, milestones and notes
Photos you upload (profile, weekly, diary and milestone photos)

Measurement, vaccination, medication and vitamin records are health data and are processed only with your explicit consent.

c) Technical and Subscription Information

Push notification token and your notification preferences
Subscription status and purchase history (we never receive your payment card details)

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide the Service and your baby’s development tracking
To store and display the photos you upload
To send the reminders and notifications you enable
To manage your subscription and premium access
To respond to your support requests

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Photos

Photos are stored in private storage and are accessible only to your account
Photos are shown in the app through short-lived, access-controlled links
We do not use photos for advertising or share them with anyone

5. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share data only with the following service providers, and only as needed to run the Service:

Supabase – database, authentication and photo storage for all data listed in Section 2 (servers in Germany)
RevenueCat – subscription management; receives your account ID and purchase history (servers in the USA)
Expo (Expo Push Service) and Apple Push Notification service – delivery of notifications; receive your push token and the notification content
Apple App Store or Google Play – processing of subscription payments under their own privacy policies

These providers may process data on servers located outside Türkiye. The legal basis for cross-border transfers is described in the KVKK Notice. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect legal rights.

6. Data Security

Encrypted data transfer (HTTPS)
Row-level access control so each account can access only its own data
Authentication-based access to all data and photos

7. Children’s Privacy

Bebelog is intended for parents and legal guardians aged 18 or over. We do not collect data directly from children. All child-related data, including photos, is entered by the parent or guardian.

8. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Ayarlar (Settings) → Hesabı Sil (Delete Account). This permanently deletes your account, all tracking data, all uploaded photos, your consent records and your subscriber record at RevenueCat. Deleted data may remain in the provider’s automated backups until the backup retention period ends.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Please cancel it in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions) or in Google Play under Subscriptions.

9. Your Rights

Under KVKK and, where applicable, GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw your consent. The full list of rights and how to apply are set out in the KVKK Notice. Contact us at support@bebelog.co; we respond within 30 days.

10. Subscriptions

Bebelog offers optional auto-renewing premium subscriptions. Any free trial, its length and the price are shown on the purchase screen before you subscribe. Payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. See the Terms of Service for details.

11. Medical Disclaimer

Bebelog is a tracking and informational tool and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email.
